The idea that a Realtor would like to get paid shouldn't seem shocking to people, but there aren't a lot of RE professionals who like to discuss the subject. I run a homebuilding company at the beach (and I read your tweets when I am on twitter), and we have so many people who make us low-ball offers on new homes. We turn them down (more than likely)- and they get offended. My answer is always that we want (and need) to make money on building a home (These are to-be-built homes, not specs). People are shocked that we won't do anything to get a deal done. As a licensed Realtor- thanks for sticking up and being honest about money- a true professional adds value and is worth due compensation. Good Call. Thanks.
