Maya Paveza
For the last decade, Maya J. Paveza has been a full-time, licensed REALTOR in Delaware and Pennsylvania licensed REALTOR . Prior to that, she worked intermittently in the Real Estate industry. In 1997, she relocated from Seattle to Delaware. Previously she lived in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York City and Long Island, Fort Lauderdale, and Berkshire County, Massachusetts.
Before becoming a license REALTOR, she retired from her position as a Senior Web Developer and Designer, as well as a judge in numerous Web Design competitions. Her team received a Smithsonian Award for innovation in 1998 for an Online Automobile Insurance quote website. Maya also taught Web Design, and still consults for select clients in Graphical User Interface design, using her background in Visual Psychology and Graphic Design. Maya is also a Lifetime Member of the New Castle County Board of REALTORS Million Dollar Club, a member of the Public Policy Committee, as well as the Professional Standards Committee, and a Delaware Real Estate Commission approved instructor in Social Media.
She takes all of her technology skills with her to Real Estate to better serve her clients by utilizing the latest, cutting edge technology. Recently honored to be selected as an Ask a REALTOR Blogger on REALTOR.com, Maya has the opportunity to answer questions from people worldwide. As well a contributor to Active Rain, and Twitterqueens.net, where she is a founding member. Maya also provides training in the effective utilization of social media; her clients include real estate agents, small businesses and large corporations. As she believes, “The key to social media isn’t being there, it is being there for the right reasons and understanding the reason you want to be there”.
